This week marked a pivotal milestone for Live Your Dream Life. The physical copies of the book arrived and distribution outlets started stocking the book and people started buying the book!
And it was all very overwhelming.
After some epic social media fails – that probably confused the heck out of my followers and any potential readers (think an over excited author wanting to get the links to sales outlets out quickly … before perhaps the links were actually ready).
Oh they are ready now and here they are : https://www.livingyourdreamlife.org/tools/buy-the-book-live-your-dream-life/
So, a few deep breaths to control the positive and overflowing emotions. And reflection on why this was all so important.
There is a belief. A belief that I hold, that was echoed by the respondents to the Live Your Dream Life survey that people have lost balance across some really important life areas.
That people want to embrace the philosophy of Live Your Dream Life, but have due to necessity retreated and embraced just a few life areas such as family, work, main relationships and remain stressed out about money, time to socialise, personal development and growth and pursuits and passions.
So Live Your Dream Life the book not only became and is about these life areas and an exploration of these areas from a psychological and well-being point of view … but importantly ..and most importantly …a book that provides practical, accessible and achievable guidance on how to bring these life areas, all of them into balance … if you want to.
And that is just it. Live Your Dream Life has and always was intended to have an emphasis on the “Your”. It’s your life and it is your action plan that the book works towards. That is why it has been written the way it has, is so that the book as you read it becomes all about you. It becomes your guided action plan. It’s yours.
And this is really important.
We need to celebrate all that we are, and where we have been doing our best, we need to acknowledge this.
But we can all do better … if we want to.
This book, Live Your Dream Life, aims to achieve just that for all of us.
