Forget resolutions, the wish list of plans, all the things you think you should be doing. You know the usual list … exercise more, read more, get your finances in order. Maybe it’s a new modern list … 365 days of selfies. Maybe it’s personal growth and expanding your mind for 2019?
You know the statistics on this don’t you? 80% of NYE resolutions are abandoned by February!
Because resolutions without a plan are just a wish list.
If you don’t have a plan then you don’t have clarity about your life priorities.
Resolutions that are not congruent with your life priorities and values don’t get afforded the time needed to make them happen.
Life priorities either through choice or necessity take over and dominate our time.
Without a perception of time affluence, then those well meant resolutions are deprioritised very quickly … in about 4-6 weeks.
What if, across all the important life areas, say for example … health, work, money, love relationships, social relationships, family time, hobbies and pursuits, personal development, time out for ourselves, philanthropy, and our home … we had clarity after assessing each life area on our own terms after understanding the positive impact that life area had on our psychology and physiology?
What if that whole process took only about 10 hours and at the end of it we had an individual personal plan?
What if then the resolutions we made were aligned to that plan?
What do you think the success rate would be? Would this add value to your life? To those you care about?
Would you have the opportunity to be the best you possible?
If this is something you want, then Live Your Dream Life, the book, may just be the first NYE resolution you want to keep by grabbing yourself a copy.
